Ultimate Freedom Overview
The Ultimate Freedom Tour is our full-day private tour of Waiheke Island: seven-plus hours with your own local guide, in a spacious luxury SUV, for up to four guests. Sommelier-led tastings, the coast road to the far end, a long lunch at Man O' War or a Michelin-starred table — every stop is yours to choose. It's the whole of Waiheke in one day, with nothing scripted and nothing rushed.
A Sample Itinerary:
Most visitors get a few hours on Waiheke; this is the whole day, west to east. Keep lunch short and fit in another tasting, or swap Man O' War for the Michelin-starred degustation at Mudbrick or Tantalus Estate. Nothing is fixed — we shape the day around you after you book.

Ferry to Matiatia & the Palm Beach lookout
Catch the Island Direct ferry from Pier 13 in downtown Auckland. We meet you at Matiatia Wharf, then stop at the Palm Beach lookout for your first big view over the Hauraki Gulf.

Finish with dinner, not a ferry queue. Plenty of our guests stay on for sunset at Mudbrick — we'll book the table, drop you at the door and point you to a taxi for the short ride to the ferry.
Travelling with children? The Ultimate works well for families. We build in beach time and playgrounds, keep the drives short, and are happy to keep little ones busy while you taste — we're parents too. Youth travel at a reduced rate and young children travel free.
How long is the Ultimate Freedom Tour?
About seven to eight hours. We plan from a 10am pick-up to around 5pm — time for five stops, the far end and a long lunch.
How much does the Ultimate Freedom Tour cost?
From NZ$699 per person, or NZ$599 each for groups of three or four. Tastings and lunch are paid separately, and the ferry isn't included.
Can we have a Michelin-starred lunch on the tour?
Yes. Mudbrick and Tantalus Estate were both awarded a Michelin star in the first Michelin Guide New Zealand, in 2026. We'll book your table; lunch is paid on the day.
How is it different from the Epic Far-End Tour?
The Ultimate covers the whole island, west to east, over seven to eight hours. The Far-End spends six hours on the eastern end, with fewer, longer stops.
