Couples with a milestone coming up. Anniversaries, a big birthday, a "we finally did it". The full-day Ultimate Freedom Tour (from NZ$699 per person) can include a Michelin-starred lunch at Mudbrick or Tantalus Estate.

What's in the day
Every tour is private: just their group, up to four guests, a local guide and a comfortable 4WD. We book tastings, lunch and any extras before they arrive, and meet them off the ferry at Matiatia. Tastings, lunch and the ferry aren't included in the tour price, so a gift that covers the tour leaves them to choose their own wines.
A little tip
If you're giving a gift card for a summer date, encourage them to book early: December to February is our busiest season, and the best dates go first.
